Lotus Notes Client Error CWPCA8522E Application

Error "CWPCA8522E Application did not get installed" is displayed on Standard client when opening the users mailfile.

To fix shut down the Notes client and then delete the following folders under the Data folder:

Data\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.portal.app

Data\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.rcp.portal.app

Restart the Notes client.

    To deal with such errors is not an easy task. To avoid such irritating Lotus Notes error its better you migrate to Outlook. I switched to Outlook from irritating Lotus Notes last April with the help of Stellar NSF to PST converter. http://nsftopstconverter.stellarservertools.com/
